ALIGN Learning & Family Support provides personalized tutoring, executive function coaching, and holistic family support designed to help children build confidence, independence, self-advocacy, and a lifelong love of learning.

Founded by Alison DiMaria, M.A.Ed., a New York State Certified educator with 20+ years of experience, ALIGN supports children and families through individualized academic instruction, collaborative home-school guidance, and whole-child care. With experience across New York’s public and private schools, ICT classrooms, and IEP-informed instruction, Alison’s approach is calm, thoughtful, and deeply collaborative: bringing home, school, learning, and emotional well-being into alignment so children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Her classroom experience spans children from early childhood “Mommy & Me” programs through 2nd grade, while her tutoring and individualized support work has extended across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels, giving her a broad understanding of child development and learning at every stage.

Instruction is grounded in research-based approaches including Orton–Gillingham, PAF, Sounds in Motion, and Heggerty, while always remaining personalized to each child and family’s unique needs.
